Chase is an Olympic swimmer going for gold. Focused, driven, intense.
Emma is a blogger going for the scoop, and she has the perfect in. She’s gotten herself hired as his physical therapist. With all that intimate time together, the secrets from his past don’t stand a chance.
And neither does she.
Note: In Deep is a standalone hot, contemporary romance. It’s the first of four standalones in the “All In” series, which can be read in any order.
This was my first book by Callie Harper and I’m sure it won’t be my last.
I got sucked in at the beginning but then I found myself sort of skimming past some parts, whether it was me or not I don’t know. I loved Chase, he was motivated, intense and had that controlling attitude I know we all love in an alpha male!! He also had a softer side to him and a secretive side where he kept everything to himself and no-one knew his back story. He had walls so big and thick, no-one could break them down… until Emma.
Emma was an okay character, I didn’t connect with her as quick as like to when I read a book, but she was a likable character none the less. The only thing that really didn’t sit well with me was the who using him to get a story on her blog to gain more followers, surely she would have to sign an NDA to work with athletes of Olympic standard? Not only that but the whole patient/client confidentiality? She would lose her license.
Their chemistry was great, the sex was hot and the story was okay.
As this is my first book from Callie, I will go and read another from her as i enjoyed the writing style.
