We came from nothing and were given a second chance at life, and life was pretty good until it tipped on
its axis and my world came tumbling down around me.
My Baby Sister is missing…
I’ve never felt this helpless before now, the vacant hole
inside me expanding with each passing second of not knowing where she is.
What’s she going through?
Is she hurt?
The more I learn of her disappearance the more fear
implants itself inside my heart, hardening – darkening.
The world is a depraved place, full of evil lurking behind normality.
Behind deception and facades.
She needs me and I will do whatever it takes to find
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review on behalf of my co-owned blog United by Books.
Lost is full of the dark deliciousness I have come to know and love from Ker and Dawn and why the pair are my favourite writing duo!
I was drawn into Lost from the very first page. The story itself is complicated, seductive and will most definitely keep you on your toes throughout. I read Lost quickly because quite simply I couldn’t put it down, even drying my hair while I kept reading haha. It’s very hard not to fall in love with Winter and Summer as their story unfolds and you become a part of the chaos that surrounds them and has for all of their lives. Sisters who are as different personally as the seasons they are named after, but who would do and have done anything for each other and to protect each other.
Ker and Dawn’s words bring to life a truly powerful story. One that will have me and you as readers going through a whole host of different emotions while you read Lost. Not all necessarily good or comfortable but let’s face it if you wanted an easy read you wouldn’t be buying their books or enjoying them.
Lost definitely ranks up there as one of my favourite dark reads, ever. I really loved it, so much so I could dive back in and read it all over again. And I think I will.
She is an avid reader and her tastes range from horror to erotic, but she loves to help new authors get into the ‘scene’. She loves rock music and tattooed
guys, and has a weakness for coffee, wine and Belgium buns.
I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I
could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active… I would want to
change the script.I would watch films and think of ways they could have improved the story if
they took another direction so i thought it best that i tell my own.
My mum would always have a book in her hand when I
was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I
tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light, some are
created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.
When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love
spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down
time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.
You can find me on Facebook where I love interacting
with my readers.
